Subject [jira] [Commented] (AIRAVATA-2581) Manually deploy Django version of dev seagrid
Date Fri, 03 Nov 2017 20:39:00 GMT

Marcus Christie commented on AIRAVATA-2581:

So I've run into a bit of a road block. In mod_wsgi apparently there is an {{apache}} object
that is in the namespace that prevents Python from seeing {{apache.airavata}}. I end up with
this error:
[Fri Nov 03 19:02:46.626623 2017] [wsgi:error] [pid 2738] [remote] ImportError:
No module named 'apache.airavata'; 'apache' is not a package

Possible solutions:
* generate the thrift libraries with a different name, maybe just 'airavata'?
* configure mod_wsgi to not create this {{apache}} object? But I have no idea how to do this.
It's really hard to search for information because "apache" hits so many pages already that
include mod_wsgi since mod_wsgi is an apache module.
