Subject ambari-setup error

Am facing the following error while running ambari-server setup. Should we
provide some config file with username pass word for postgres user?. Am
using postgres8.4(as recommended) for Rhel 6 64 bit.

ambari-server setup
Using python  /usr/bin/python2.6
Run postgresql initdb
Data directory is not empty!
Run postgresql start
Starting postgresql service:                               [  OK  ]
Setup ambari-server
Checking SELinux...
SELinux status is 'disabled'
Checking iptables...
iptables is disabled now
Checking PostgreSQL...
Configuring database...
Could not read ambari config file "None": coercing to Unicode: need string
or buffer, NoneType found
