Unless I'm mistaken, there's already a full Java impl of a CVS client. It's
called jCVS, and it uses underneath the pure Java impl of the :pserver:
protocol and maybe others. So <cvs> _could_ be implemented in pure Java in
portable manner (I guess), but then delegating to native (well tested) cvs
client is not that bad either. --DD

It calls CVS on the system :(

If you've time to add a fully Java impl... I'm *sure* it
would be greatfuly received ;)
