Ok doing a "set" command reveals (something like):

CLASSPATH=.;C:\java\lib\xerces.jar;C:\java\lib\jaxp.jar;C:\java\lib\jdom.jar // plus paths
to all Common/Shared folders in my Tomcat-domain
