Subject subant - writing mulitple output files using - one for each build.xml
Date Mon, 24 Nov 2003 16:51:17 GMT

I'm using subant to run multiple build files and would like a separate output log for each
build file that is run. Ideally the name of the output file should link it to the name of
the project in the new(child) build file. I tried using the output attribute like this

        <target name="subant" depends="init">
            <subant target="getLatest" output="${log.dir}/${}.log" >
              <fileset dir="${services.dir}" includes="**/build.xml"/>

hoping that the ${} would pick up the project name of the new (child) project
rather than the current project - however as expected it picked up the current project, with
the output file only containing details of the last build.xml that was run.

Any ideas how I could do this ?
