Subject [jira] [Resolved] (ARIES-1297) Remove quiesce support from jpa
Date Fri, 13 Feb 2015 17:57:13 GMT

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARIES-1297?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel
]

Christian Schneider resolved ARIES-1297.
----------------------------------------
       Resolution: Won't Fix
    Fix Version/s:     (was: jpa-container-context-1.0.5)
                       (was: jpa-container-1.0.3)

After some discussion on the list I think I understand now what the Quiesce Support is good
for. I still hope we might be able to achieve the same without the API for jpa but at least
it is clear that simply removing quiesce support is not good enough.

I will work on a better solution but this would be out of scope of this issue.

>          Components: JPA
>    Affects Versions: jpa-container-1.0.2, jpa-container-context-1.0.4

> I recently asked on the dev list if anyone uses the quiesce API in aries jpa.
> Till now no one reported that he needs it. So this issue is to track the removal.
> I plan to commit the removal on next monday (2015-02-16) if no one speaks up to keep
it.
