Or... as friend suggested:

bq. Register as a ServiceFactory with the service name as a String (instead of XYZ.class.name()).
Then the service is registered and once the API becomes available and the service is requested
the ServiceFactory returns the actual instance. The cm package has to be DynamicImport-Package-ed
for this to work.

I believe this was added as part of ARIES-1252. We should make this optional if possible.
