Subject [jira] Commented: (AXISCPP-118) Create AxisClientException with fault name
Date Mon, 09 Aug 2004 13:20:20 GMT

       Body:
This resolution would be for the long term. In the shorter term a resolution would like to
simply rename the AxisClientException to be <ServiceName>Exception.
This way you have a single exception per service at least.

Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: AXISCPP-118
Summary: Create AxisClientException with fault name
       Type: New Feature

     Status: Open
   Priority: Major

    Project: Axis-C++
 Components:
             WSDL generation
   Fix Fors:
             1.3 Beta
   Versions:
             1.3 Beta

   Assignee: Adrian Dick
   Reporter: John Hawkins

    Created: Thu, 5 Aug 2004 5:49 AM
    Updated: Mon, 9 Aug 2004 6:19 AM
    Due: Fri, 13 Aug 2004 12:00 AM

Description:
Currently the AxisClientException is created as a singleton. This is no good if a single client
calls more than one stub service. It would be much better if the AxisClientException was renamed
to be <myfaultname>

This will mean changes to WSDL2WS to create a different named Exception and the stubs to use
it
