Here is an overview of the issue:
        Key: AXISCPP-166
    Summary: The monitor.jar utility program didn't handle test failures
       Type: Bug

     Status: Closed
   Priority: Minor
 Resolution: FIXED

    Project: Axis-C++

   Assignee: Andrew Perry
   Reporter: Andrew Perry

    Created: Tue, 21 Sep 2004 8:54 AM
    Updated: Tue, 21 Sep 2004 9:14 AM
Environment: All supported platforms

When running the Apache Ant test framework a monitor program intercepts the request and response
messages on the wire, in a similar way to tcpmon, and writes the messages to files on the
filesystem. The original version listened for a request and response then died. Unfortunately
no request or response was received then the program would stay alive and block the 'monitor'

The program needs to stay alive until a stop request has been sent.
