While I'd still be fine with removing it, I think Sam is going to add a
timeout (woo, an actual use for the timeout code!) of something like 10
seconds, which would, I think, satisfy me as well - as long as the timeout
doesn't make the test fail (which does lead one to ask exactly what's being
tested in that case...).
