I have updated the basic 'flow' diagram...and checked in a new one showing the flow of exception
handling.

I don't have any exception handling code behind the diagram.  I tried this out, but the code
seems way too complex for the introductory topics. We still need a topic on exception handling,
however. So perhaps this bug should be reopened, or a new bug written.

To see my fixes, you will need to build docs, and look at the HTML file locally.

, the login flow should show exception handling and validation for the failure cases, since
this is how it would be done in real life (and it makes the flow easier to digest).  This
could lead into a blurb or even content about declarative exception handling.  I'll attach
a cut at an updated picture.
