I just had a quick look again and it seems like it also tries to repair the system table in
0.8.x. Maybe I just miss something here so it will never try todo so...

About the patch.. I was not sure if the right place is StorageService or NodeProbe to handle
this here. So I'm open for suggestions and to provide another patch if necessary..
