Subject [jira] Commented: (CAY-1482) Add destDir sources to the compile path for cgen
Date Thu, 16 Sep 2010 16:59:32 GMT

Mark Hanley commented on CAY-1482:

Exactly, we are putting the generated sources in target/generated-sources/cayenne and do not
want to modify our src [svn] directory during a build.
Much like:
JAXB puts theirs under target/generated-sources/xjc
JDK6 puts theirs under target/generated-sources/annotations
Hibernate uses target/generated-sources/hibernate3
Xdoclet uses target/generated-sources/xdoclet
>From what I understand, the convention is ${}/generated-sources/<toolname>

> Using cgen, maven generates the expected java source from my Cayenne map.xml file, but
the compiler is not directed to those auto generated java files. Please ad destDir to compile
source roots. See for the same
