Subject How do I display static content as left-nav on a PDF document using XSL:FO ???
Date Wed, 02 May 2001 15:13:07 GMT
Hi All,

I need to display some data from my XML file as static-content on the left-nav of the PDF
file generated by using XSL:FO.

I'm using Cocoon-1.8.2 that uses Fop_0_15_0.

I've tried using the following code:

<fo:layout-master-set>
     <fo:simple-page-master master-name="...."
            margin-height="..."..>
       <fo:region-start extent="...." />
.........................
</fo:simple-page-master >
</fo:layout-master-set>

<fo:page-sequence master-name="...." >
 <fo:static-content flow-name="xsl-region-start">
          <fo:block>...{Calling my template here}....</fo:block>
  </fo:static-content>
........................
</fo:page-sequence >

 But the code just isn't working.

My tomcat server generates the following warning:

WARNING: region-name 'xsl-region-start' doesn't exist in the layout-master-set.

I've tried changing the <fo:region-start extent="...." />  to  <fo:xsl-region-start
extent="...." /> in my layout-master-set. But even this doesn't work.

Am i missing something here? Could somebody please help me on this.

Thanks in Advance!!!

Regards
