What I had in mind is very similar to the Avalon code Enum and ValuedEnum.

I think that, ironically, there is too much functionality in your code
Dimitri. Lang would tend against using properties files, and I would tend
against localization of an enumeration class. If this were java, I would see
localization sitting with the java.text package.

I do like the Enum[] enum(Class) method however, to retireve the values in
the enumeration.

I would also like to see the Avalon ValuedEnum class implement Comparable,
rather than have the named methods.
