Please ignore that last message - a web search sufficed for a good understanding of transitive

I suppose compile/run-time is not the proper axis for differentiating what I was trying to
differentiate....  At least for any SPI packages like commons-logging, the run-time dependencies
are not really required, but rather optional.  So perhaps the proper axis is run-time-required/run-time-optional.

The first diagram shows compile time dependencies. Run time dependencies would be the transitive
closure. I think the dependencies are already set up this way, but I didn't check.

Unfortunately, [graph] is not yet up to the task of helping with this kind of manipulations.
