Antonio,

This was an unnecessary internal utility class - it had only one method in it 
and that method was completely ridiculous.  I hope you did not use it!  But in 
any case, you are right that I should not have simply removed it. I should've 
deprecated it instead.

Now, I don't really know how to proceed. It's not in 1.2. So, should it come 
back in 1.3 as deprecated only to go away again in 1.4 or whatever release 
follows 1.3?  

For now I will redeploy javadoc to make sure the class is not mentioned there.
