This works just fine for me. Remember that you need to set the repository
location before you parse the input stream, since the repository location is set
on each FileItem instance as it is created. For example:

    File tempDir = new File("<wherever>");
    DiskFileItemFactory factory = new DiskFileItemFactory();
    factory.setRepository(tempDir);
    FileUpload upload = new ServletFileUpload(factory);
    List /* FileItem */ items = upload.parseRequest(request);
