Sebb commented on VALIDATOR-386:
--------------------------------

Agreed, the scope is wrong.

[Needs a unit test in a different package to show this]

>                 Key: VALIDATOR-386
>                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/VALIDATOR-386
>             Project: Commons Validator
>          Issue Type: Bug
>    Affects Versions: 1.5.0

> Version 1.5.0 adds the possibility to override TLDs using:
> {{org.apache.commons.validator.routines.DomainValidator#updateTLDOverride}}
> however the first parameter to that function is package scoped. This seems like a bug
to me, to implement an override I have to create a class in {{org.apache.commons.validator.routines}}
for me to use this functionality.
