Issue ID
 TRQS233 (Patch for MySQL Connector J)

Modified by
 Henning Schmiedehausen
 henning (hps@intermeta.de)

The following modifications were made to this issue:

Resolution changed from "Worksforme" to "Wontfix"
Status changed from "New" to "Closed"

While I basically agree with the patch (MySQL Connector/J has been around for quite a while),
this might introduce side effects that I want to avoid for 3.1.1

If you really need the changed setting, you can set the data source driver in your torque.properties
by using

torque.dsfactory.<yourdatasource>.connection.driver = com.mysql.Driver

torque.defaults.connection.driver = com.mysql.Driver

for all datasources.

This patch would only affect non-configured datasources that rely on the adapter setting as
a default.
