Subject [jira] [Resolved] (TORQUE-277) Need ability to update a date column during update to sysdate
Date Mon, 20 May 2013 21:09:16 GMT

Thomas Fox resolved TORQUE-277.

       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: 4.1

One can now construct a JdbcTypedValue from a single string, this denotes a verbatim SQL expression
to be used (in your case SYSDATE)
Then you can use the doUpdate(ColumnValues) method to do the desired update.

Please check whether this is working, if not, please reopen the issue. Note that also the
currecnt version fo the templates and the generator is required for this to work.

> I have an entity which has a timestamp column. On every update to the record in that
table (using save() method) I need to set that column to the SYSDATE. I would like to add
columnName=SYSDATE while constructing the query itself i.e. Criteria from which the query
gets formed.
