Arpit Gupta commented on FALCON-215:
------------------------------------

Then its a new feature thats why i felt we should do it in 0.5. The functionality of the current
scripts is no different from 0.3. So that leads me to believe 0.3 will have an issue with
jre too.

However i have not looked into what is missing for jre.

> $ ./bin/falcon-start
> /home/samarth/falconOpensource/falcon-distributed-0.5-incubating-SNAPSHOT/bin/falcon-config.sh:
line 82: /usr/lib/jvm/java-7-oracle/jre/bin/jar: No such file or directory
> /home/samarth/falconOpensource/falcon-distributed-0.5-incubating-SNAPSHOT
> Hadoop is installed, adding hadoop classpath to falcon classpath
> falcon started using hadoop version: Hadoop 0.20.2-cdh3u5
> Looks like jar is not part of oracle jvm 7. Also, start should fail in this case instead
of saying falcon has started successfully
