Shwetha G S commented on FALCON-188:
------------------------------------

The cmd for building oozie is: $MVN_CMD clean install -DskipTests
How did oozie pick up hadoop-2 profile and start using 2.2.0 hadoop? The hadoop version that
Oozie is built with doesn't affect anything. Oozie pkg doesn't bundle any hadoop jars in the
war. mvn jetty:run brings up oozie with the same hadoop that falcon uses.

> I'm not sure if this is an issue but I see that /src/bin/oozie-patch-pkg.sh in build-tools
module does not carry forward the hadoop-profile being used for falcon.
> Oozie depends on 2.2.0-SNAPSHOT but since 2.2.0 was released, SNAPSHOT does not exist
in maven repo and the build fails.
> these are 2 orthogonal issues but related?
