If we moved falcon in the CP first could it not then cause issues when hadoop client code
tries to use something from commons-lang?

I think one way we can do this is create a new env var along the lines of FALCON_CLASSPATH_FIRST
which defaults to false/no. If its set to yes then we add it first before hadoop.

That way you can keep the existing behavior and only change it in specific cases.
