Justin Mclean commented on FLEX-34034:

Issue is reproducible in en_US locale so presumably effects all locales.

The code handlePasteOperation in RichEditableText returns if the text has no newlines in it.
The newlines are first removed from pastedText in textContainerManager_flowOperationBeginHandler,
so basically nothing is done. This is incorrect but not sure what the fix is, either textContainerManager_flowOperationBeginHandler
should't be removing the new lines or handlePasteOperation should be returning early if newlines
were removed.

> You can paste a newline code to a single-line TextInput.

> Affects Versions: Apache Flex 4.11.0

> 1. copy only the new line from the text editor like K2Editor / sakura editor / Google
Translation's textarea.
> (just only a new-line without any other string)
> 2. paste it to TextInput
> 3. press "Ctrl + A"
> you can see there is a newline.
