Subject [jira] [Closed] (FLINK-4802) distinct() implicitly uses 0th field, when called without a parameter
Date Fri, 21 Oct 2016 08:51:00 GMT

Chesnay Schepler closed FLINK-4802.
-----------------------------------
    Resolution: Not A Problem

This turned out to not be a problem. The distinct function does not take the 0th field of
the input tuple, but the 0th field of the {code}(x,){code} tuple, effectively doing the distinct
on the entire element. This is consistent with other API's.

Sorry for the confusion.
