This problem should be discussed in a separate thread. Let's open a JIRA issue for it, if
it does not exist yet. We should first investigate if we can let Calcite convert simple literals
to double. Explicit casts are not a nice solution but at least they make the operation explicit.
If we would automatically cast the type to double we would lose precision which might be unintended.
A corresponding {{BigDecimal}} method would also return a {{BigDecimal}} and would cause high
serialization overhead for Flink applications even though a simple double would do the job.
