Alfonso Nishikawa commented on GORA-112:

Hi, Udesh.
I have some doubts about the statemente "carving the way for adoption of Pig". My understand
is a bit limited :P
Just tell that there is already a first version of the connector between Pig and Gora (not
polished). I am available for when you wish to compare models.
Cheer up!

> It has been a long term goal for Gora to support tools which enable easier data processing
workflow implementations across Hadoop. Cascading is one of the processing API's which has
been on the radar for Gora from inception into the Apache Incubator and would be an excellent
addition to the project, carving the way for adoption of Pig etc. Although it is obviously
beneficial to be able to think MapReduce, tools like Cascading are key to lowering the barrier
to adoption for Gora users who wish to utilise MR through the Gora API.
