Lewis John McGibbney commented on GORA-292:
-------------------------------------------

Thanks for explanation [~akber]. I understand completely.
.bq Becuase of the implied dependency on Avro, maybe I should wait for the GORA_94 branch
to be merged with master, and then I will re-generate the patch, test in prod, and re-submit.
Is that OK?

It is entirely up to you what you wish to do. As you are using Accumulo in production and
therefore more familiar with it than myself it would be very much appreciated (if you have
the time) for you to work with this patch so we can commit it to the GORA_94 branch. This
will deal with the Accumulo upgrade as well as upgrade to the new Persistency API.

If you however are not able to work with the patch, then I will try and pick it up so we can
at least get the test suite passing.
[~kturner], I understand you are stuck for time as well, however I wonder about how much work
is required to make the upgrade?

Thanks all.
