Thats is a good idea to do if we need to find out if the current process user has certain
permissions. But I guess the point we are debating on currently is whether we can make checkDisk(File)
do what checkDisk(FS, Path, Perm) does. Perhaps by simply calling the second function. If
checkDisk(FS, Path, Perm) meets our other needs then it should be enough. I think currently,
the code checks for expected permissions, implicitly assuming the daemon processes to be running
as the users who are supposed to have those permissions.
