Thanks for the contribution. I reviewed it again.
# Could you add a debug message in {{goUpGroupHierarchy()}} to print out the filter string
before the LDAP query is sent out?
# I suppose this is not compatible with posixGroup?
# In each {{goUpGroupHierarchy()}}, you get a new {{InitialDirContext}} object through {{getDirContext()}}.
This can slow down performance since it will start a new connection per call. It's better
to reuse the connection.
