Subject [users@httpd] i want *.zonekiller to my VitualHost
Date Thu, 15 May 2003 12:23:18 GMT
Hi
I have a couple of web sites on my web server running Apache 1.3.27

One of the sites I host are pretty new named www.zonekiller.dk
The only way to reach the page is to write www.zonekiller.dk
If you write http://zonekiller.dk in the browser you'll get another page the
server are hosting http://mail.im-teknik.dk
I have seen an configuration using a line called ServerAlias in the host
section
I tried to implement the ServerAlias in my host section like this

<VirtualHost 192.168.200.2>
ServerAdmin jan@im-teknik.dk
DocimentRoot /www/zonekiller.dk
ServerName www.zonekiller.dk
ServerAlias *.zonekiller.dk
</VirtualHost>

But this did not work the server always redirect me to the VirtualHost
section that look like this

<VirtualHost 192.168.200.2>
ServerAdmin jan@im-teknik.dk
Redirect permanent / http://mail.im-teknik.dk/exchange
ProxyPass /exchange http://ip-address-off-server/exchange
ServerName mail.im-teknik.dk
</VirtualHost>

What I want is to be able to make a * alias for at web site in a single
VirtualHost section instead of making a VirtualHost section for
http://zonekiller.dk and one for www.zonekiller.dk

Is it possible in apache to do this, and what do I need to do to get it to
work, please help me if some one can.
Best regards,
Jan Madsen
