Subject [users@httpd] HELP : openssl rand ... -rand /dev/random 64 ...
Date Sun, 03 Aug 2003 04:31:21 GMT
For OpenSSL, I need a .rnd or .rand.
I used following line command :
[root]# openssl rand -out test64 -rand /dev/random 64
That should work and generate an output file "test64" using 64 bytes from
/dev/random.
My system seems to hang and I have to ctrl-C out or it.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me please ? :-(
TIA
