Subject [users@httpd] increasing load and memory usage during large requests
Date Mon, 02 Feb 2004 17:40:36 GMT
Hi,

we are using Apache 1.3.29 with mod_perl and php on a Solaris 8 system.
Recently we observed that during requests of pages bigger than 1Mb, the
responsible apache server consumes much more
	CPU
and
	memory
resources, which decreases the performance of the system.

Questions, is this a normal and explainable behaviour? Can it be avoided
some how?

Any help and hints are welcome!

Thanks
	Harald
