Subject [users@httpd] apache2 mod_proxy mod_ext_filter issue
Date Fri, 16 Oct 2009 01:13:40 GMT
Hi,

I need some help. I'm having an odd issue. I'm trying to run a proxy
but want to add some content at the end of html files. I had it
working for files hosted locally, so i know that at least that is
working properly. However, when I try to use the ext_filter on the
proxy nothing happens. Any ideas?

Configuration:
Apache/2.2.11
Ubuntu/2.6.28-11-server

---- proxy.conf ----

ExtFilterDefine my-filter mode=output intype=text/html cmd="/bin/sed
s/verdana/arial/g"

<IfModule mod_proxy.c>
        ProxyRequests On
        <Proxy *>
                AddDefaultCharset off
                Order allow,deny
		Allow from all
		SetOutputFilter my-filter
        </Proxy>
        ProxyVia Off
</IfModule>

----- test.html ----

<html><head><title>SKYBLENDER</title></head><body>HELL
WORLD!!!!!!<br>verdana<br>arial<br></body></html>

------- testing it as http://skyblender.com/index.html through the proxy ----

I didn't compile apache, but I've applied all the updates for the OS.
The proxy is working, but the external filter does not work with it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,

Marcos
