Updated iBatis to 2.3.4 but same exception..
Then I modified procedure as to work around exception , and it worked.
I am concluding this is an issue with MySQL ,and not with the iBatis.
Closing this JIRA
Still If you wish to have a look at it,Will post my procedures for further investigation,Please
