I haven't experienced this on Access or SQL Server 2000. What database
are you using? What version of IBatisNet are you using? Could you
supply us with a small snippet of the xml mapping that returns a
padding value? It sounds like something is getting changed into a CHAR
as opposed to a VARCHAR.
