Subject [jira] Commented: (DROIDS-56) Change the TaskQueue interface to java.util.Queue
Date Fri, 18 Mar 2011 12:02:29 GMT

Thorsten Scherler commented on DROIDS-56:

Yes I totally agree to: "The trunk should be our unstable development code base and may even
sometimes be broken" that is the reason why we should get a release out and then create a
0.x branch for bug fixes etc. The rewrite and merge of the different forks should happen in
the trunk, but if we have a stable release that does not matter too much. It is not to say
that a broken trunk is an optimal situation.

> 1. any code that depends on the queue should depend on java.util.Queue<T> rather
than TaskQueue.
> 2. either remove the TaskQueue or make it extends java.util.Queue
> - it means SimpleTaskQueue should extends a Queue implementation (or implement all method
of a Queue)
