Subject [jira] [Resolved] (OAK-1484) additional observation queue jmx attributes
Date Wed, 19 Mar 2014 14:02:45 GMT

Michael Dürig resolved OAK-1484.

       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: (was: 0.20)

Fixed at http://svn.apache.org/r1579234

I added a time series for the maximum number of revisions in the observation queue. This should
give quite a good indication of how the queue develops over time.

> The following jmx attributes would be very useful to have, when debugging problems or
checking the health of observation listeners and queues at runtime:
> * length of an observation listener's revision queue
> * duration of stay of oldest revision in an observation listener's revision queue
> Especially the second point can be used to judge if an observation listener is 'healthy'
or not: eg if the duration is a few seconds, things are probably fine. If the duration is
over a minute, then that could raise a flag.
