Subject [jira] [Created] (OAK-1501) Property index on "jcr:primaryType" returns the wrong cost
Date Wed, 05 Mar 2014 14:25:44 GMT
Thomas Mueller created OAK-1501:
-----------------------------------

             Summary: Property index on "jcr:primaryType" returns the wrong cost
                 Key: OAK-1501
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-1501
             Project: Jackrabbit Oak
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Thomas Mueller

For queries of type, the property index on jcr:primaryType is used, even if only a subset
of all node types are indexed:

{noformat}
/jcr:root//element(*,rep:User)[xyz/@jcr:primaryType]
{noformat}

The problem is that this index returns the wrong cost. It should return "infinity", because
the index doesn't have enough data if not all node types and mixins are indexed.
