The patch implements everything that is describing in the issue and adds unit tests for the
newly introduced components. Some unnecessary components like {{StandbyStore}}, {{SegmentLoaderHandler}},
{{StandbyClientHandler}}, and other encoders and decoders have been removed as part of this
