Subject [jira] [Commented] (OAK-8377) Jacoco plugin: add PACKAGE based rules for security code
Date Mon, 03 Jun 2019 09:46:00 GMT

angela commented on OAK-8377:

[~reschke], i tested the patch with 2 different java version on mac. since in the past the
windows builds sometimes produced slightly different coverage numbers, i would appreciate
if you could give it a try in order not to break the builds there.

> Jacoco plugin: add PACKAGE based rules for security code
> --------------------------------------------------------
> Key: OAK-8377
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-8377
> Project: Jackrabbit Oak
> Issue Type: Task
> Components: core, security
> Reporter: angela
> Assignee: angela
> Priority: Major
> Attachments: OAK-8377.patch
> test coverage within the different parts of _oak-core_ varies quite a bit such that the
default {{BUNDLE}} rule is not only of limited value. I would therefore suggest to add additional
{{PACKAGE}} based rules for the security modules, starting with 3 levels of branch coverage
to reflect the current state and reducing them as we add additional test.
