We may not have a plan how to remove Guava or update it yet.

What's sure is that we need to get rid of Guava objects in our exported APIs (either because
otherwise we'll never be able to remove them, or because Guava updates - when applied - might
break our APIs).

I'll thus file individual tickets for the affected APIs to deprecate those methods (which
in most cases will require us to provide an alternative).
