Subject [jira] [Commented] (OAK-6025) Remove --[src-]s3datastore parameter from oak-upgrade
Date Tue, 03 Dec 2019 14:19:00 GMT

Arek Kita commented on OAK-6025:

I'm not 100% sure this can be removed because the path (if given) in OSGi config might be
*relative* to some particular folder and potentially oak-upgrade might be working from a different
current working directory.
Instead I'd propose to make this command line option optional for S3 migrations. WDYT?

> -----------------------------------------------------
>                 Key: OAK-6025
>                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-6025
>             Project: Jackrabbit Oak
>          Issue Type: Improvement
>          Components: upgrade
>            Reporter: Tomek Rękawek
>            Assignee: Tomek Rękawek
>            Priority: Major
> It seems that the {{\-\-\[src\-\]s3datastore}} can be replaced with the {{path}} property
specified in the s3 configuration file (passes as --s3config). We should remove the {{\-\-\[src\-\]s3datastore}}
parameters to avoid confusion.
