Ok I've started doing this, there's a patch attached to the first JIRA:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BSF-1

The JIRA notifications don't seem to be getting through to bsf-dev yet,
maybe the list moderator needs to do something. Also everyone who wants
needs to add their JIRA uids to the new BSFJIRA project. I'll look at
migrating the old open bugzillas as soon as i figure out how.

That would be a great idea, IMHO. If doing so, how about migrating the
BSF bugzilla stuff (not too much there)
(<
http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?query_format=specific&order=relevance+desc&bug_status=__open__&product=BSF&content=
>).

Have never realized that (unprocessed!) bugzilla entries existed for BSF
up to the automatic bugzilla posting a week ago:
(<http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=41549>) to which we
should come up with a reaction. How about asking the poster to create
and supply a patch enabling Jython's apply() implementation to supply
the arguments to the Jython invocation of the passed code?
