Subject possible patch to clear caches on lateral connection
Date Thu, 05 Apr 2007 11:14:01 GMT

I'm writing an app using JCS and the lateral tcp cache.

I want to be able to flush the cache when lateral instances connect to
each other, in an effort to ensure consistency between the machines.

I see two approaches:

1) I could patch JCS to provide connect/disconnect events to
subscribers. Then I can make my application code clear things as

2) I could try to patch JCS to flush both sides on connect, possibly
providing a config option.

Does this make sense? What do people think?
