Subject Mail to sms configuration
Date Wed, 14 Apr 2004 12:00:25 GMT

I'm using James as an SMS server which means all that all mails that is
sent to number@sms.mydomain.com is delevered to a single users mail box
in James. Using JavaMail a then monitor the mailbox and read all
incomming mails and send them to the operator via IP. The solution
worked excellent and fast handling up to 10 000 sms per day without any

I have then dicovered that some sms messages could not be delivered
because of the luck of a numeric recepient number. This happens when the
sms message is sent via mailling list and "RPCT TO" is used. When the
sms application reads these mails only mailaddress of the mailling list
is found in the To field and non of the sms recepient number is in the
mail head.

I have tried to solv this without success for a week now and are very
desperate now.

Is there any body who configured James as an sms gateway or any other
solution for my problem?

I'm using James-2.2.0a15.
Thanks for your help.

Binary release + additional Mailet development docs.

All of the components in all of the packages are identical. The only
difference is the packaging.

Sometimes that's all one needs. For example, someone already running
2.2.0a16 just needs the new .sar file.
