Subject listserv functionality
Date Mon, 26 Mar 2001 01:43:24 GMT
A bug:
the listserv functionality uses UserStore to resolve the UserRepoistory to
use. The AvalonListservManager and AvalonListserv both require a
repositoryName from configuration.
could not get the listserv functionality working out of the box. Needed to
add
            <repositoryName>list-james</repositoryName>
to AvalonListservManager and AvalonListserv in assembly.xml.
the
<membersPath> file://../var/users/list-james </membersPath>
entries seem unused.
Will fix after I get the checkin access, or if someone could get to it
before that would be great.

What is the status of list server. Would it make sense to list it at
http://jakarta.apache.org/james/index.html
Can there be more than one mailing lists. Is there a (simple) way to
create/remove discussions dynamically using the internal APIs or would that
need editing the assembly.xml and restart.

Harmeet
