The process is log into jakarta.apache.org

cd /www/jakarta.apache.org/james
cvs up -dP

However you may not have an account on jakarta depending on when you joined 
up (they are trying to limit access for security purposes).

BTW I noticed someone had changed a file on filesystem and not nchecked it 
back into CVS. The change diff is
