Andrew,

This is from my log:

==> smtpserver.log <==
20/01/03 11:10:16 INFO smtpserver: Successfully spooled mail from
noel@devtech.com for [andrew.timberlake@tigerbrands.com]

==> mailet.log <==
20/01/03 11:10:18 INFO James.Mailet: RemoteDelivery: Attempting delivery of
Mail1043079016254-2917-to-tigerbrands.com to host mail.tigerbrands.com. to
addresses [andrew.timberlake@tigerbrands.com]
20/01/03 11:10:20 INFO  James.Mailet: RemoteDelivery: Mail
(Mail1043079016254-2917-to-tigerbrands.com) sent successfully to
mail.tigerbrands.com.

The DNS for tigerbrands.com shows:

> set q=mx
> tigerbrands.com

Non-authoritative answer:
tigerbrands.com mail exchanger = 20 mail.tigerbrands.co.za.
tigerbrands.com mail exchanger = 10 mail.tigerbrands.com.

Authoritative answers can be found from:
tigerbrands.com nameserver = lion.kingsley.co.za.
tigerbrands.com nameserver = water.adept.co.za.
tigerbrands.com nameserver = ns.jungle.co.za.
mail.tigerbrands.com    internet address = 196.15.154.193
mail.tigerbrands.co.za  internet address = 196.15.154.193

If I switch to tigerbrands.co.za, I get:

> set q=mx
> tigerbrands.co.za
Server:         65.199.24.5
Address:        65.199.24.5#53

tigerbrands.co.za       mail exchanger = 20 mail.tigerbrands.co.za.
tigerbrands.co.za       mail exchanger = 10 mail.tigerbrands.com.

And sending e-mail to andrew.timberlake@tigerbrands.co.za:

==> smtpserver.log <==

I sent it to a fake address, rather than your customer, just to verify that
we could effect the transfer. I did eventually get a bounce notice from
postmaster@tigerbrands.com for the e-mails.

I can but I don't even know the recipient. The problem was picked up by
one of my customers. Be gentle!!!
